After Woodinville Whiskey empties their bourbon and rye whiskey barrels, they refill them with pure, grade-A, dark amber maple syrup that is harvested from the eastern United States. The barrels are then put away to age gracefully where they absorb all the delicious flavors from the barrel: vanilla, caramel, wood spice and best of all a hint of whiskey. 8.5 oz.
Woodinville Whiskey Maple Syrup Granola
2 Cups Rolled Oats ( like Trader Joe's Multigrain Hot Cereal)
3/4 Cup Dried Cranberries
1/2 Cup Shelled Sunflower Seeds
1/2 Cup Sliced Almonds
1/4 Cup Chia Seeds
1/2 Cup Woodinville Whiskey Maple Syrup (or other awesome syrup, agave nectar, etc)
2 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
1/4 Teaspoon Allspice
1/4 Teaspoon Cinnamon
1/2 Teaspoon Kosher Salt
Heat oven to 325 degrees. In a small saucepan, mix syrup, butter, cinnamon, allspice, and salt. Hear over low heat until butter melts. Whisk to blend, then pour over oat mixture and stir until it is well coated with syrup mixture.
Spread onto a large baking sheet lined with parchment or aluminum foil. Bake for 15 minutes. Stir and rotate pan, bake for an additional 10 minutes, checking every few minutes, until golden brown.
